How often do you perform a study of your cinema audience?
When did you do it last time?

Usually there are research agencies who can have such statistics. But do you know how this statistics was collected and in what way?
According to certain sources, the main audience of cinemas are young people aged 18-25. According to others the audience of cinemas is older: the age is 22-30.

And what about your particular movie theater, located in a specific city and at a certain address? What is going on here?
Now you can accurately recognize the face of your audience.

Knowing the reliable and, most importantly, operational socio-demographical information about your viewers, you get a very powerful tool for managing the cinema:

HOW TO LAUNCH THE “AUDIENCE SEGMENTATION” VIDEO ANALYTICS SERVICE IN YOUR CINEMA?

Step 1. Install additional cameras

Install the video camera with optical zoom in the cinema hall above the screen.

We’ll provide you recommendations how to choose suitable camera models.

Step 2. Install S-Box

To control cameras and perform a preliminary image analysis, we use the S-Box microcomputers of our own design.
We will provide necessary quantity of S-Box devices to you free.

You only need to connect the S-Box to the local network of the cinema. We will make all the settings ourselves.

Step 3. Get an access to the service on the CVizi Internet portal.

If you don’t have yet the access to the CVizi portal, you need to get an account for a personal cabinet.

We’ll set up the planogram of each cinema hall and connect to your sessions schedule ourselves, and you’ll be able for each session:

  • To know how many men, women, and children were in the cinema hall;
  • To know their age;
  • To know emotions they experienced during the session;
  • To get analytical reports about audience segmentation by gender and age structured by movies, cinemas, cities, or entire regions.

Providing statistics by each occupied seat:

  • Who was here: men, women, child;
  • Viewer age
  • What emotions the viewer experienced during the session on average.
    The service detects an emotional component for a group of viewers several times per session. The camera does not monitor every viewer continuously.
